Securock Cover Board

Securock Cover Boards add to the value of your roof. Installed directly under the roofing membrane they provide several important abilities. The cover board will protect your insulation system and provide an important layer of protection that allows the insulation to be reused when re-roofing in the future. This protects your investment in this expensive and valuable asset.

The use of a cover board also protects the membrane from uneven surfaces below (nails backing out ....) the membrane that could adversely affect the long term performance of your roof system. The Securock cover board also contributes to the fire rating of the roof assemblies.

Puncture resistance is also greatly enhanced. With a hard surface under your roof membrane objects that are dropped or find their way to the roof meet with resistance and stop the membrane from bending and being punctured. Securock will achieve a Class 4 hail resistance.
